Your Initial ConsultationLearning about Cosmetic Surgery. When considering cosmetic surgery, the initial consultation is an important part of learning about the procedure you are considering. At The Center for Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery, we require a consultation so that together we can identify your goals and expectations regarding the outcome of cosmetic plastic surgery. We will answer your questions, discuss your fears and concerns and make recommendations about the appropriate procedure for you. Our patient coordinator will discuss fees with you, including fees for your particular procedure and cost estimates for the surgical facility and anesthesia services. You'll also receive copies of the surgical consent forms, as well as preoperative and postoperative care instructions. Fees and InsurancePayments made easy.Since we too, are concerned about the cost of quality medical care, we will do everything possible to keep our fees reasonable. Our billing and payment policies are summarized below: Cosmetic SurgeryCosmetic surgery is rarely covered by insurance. Some procedures, however, may be tax-deductible medical expenses. Payment is required two weeks prior to surgery. This reduces administrative expenses and helps to contain medical costs. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible, copayment or any balance not paid by your insurance company.
