Smart Lipo mpx (laser liposuction)

The Jensen Center for Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery now offers the Smart Lipo mpx (laser liposuction) procedure.

Better Results. This form of liposuction (laser lipolysis) uses a tiny laser to deliver energy directly to the fat cells, causing them to rupture and drain away as liquid. Tissue around the area coagulates, resulting in tighter skin overall. Patients also report better body contouring and smoothing that traditional liposuction cannot provide.

Candidates eligible for the procedure are in good health and of normal body weight. Smart Lipo is meant for areas that do not respond to diet or exercise.

The recovery period for Smart Lipo is much shorter than traditional liposuction, as it is a minimally invasive procedure that usually only requires local anesthesia. You can return to work after only a couple of days, and be physically active after two weeks.

Safe treatment. Patients are sometimes turned away from traditional liposuction because of areas that are too risky to treat. With the Smart Lipo mpx laser, these areas can be treated safely. The tiny laser allows for a high level of precision in targeting localized fat deposits.
